The MP further disclosed that GHC 6,000.00 out of the GHC 8,000.00 used for this particular initiative was donated by his chorister University mate from KNUST who contacted him after the initial support to the over 50 BECE graduates.

He said they have agreed to keep the identity of the donor undisclosed but entreated the parents and their children to pray for him (donor) and others with good intentions about their education and future.

The MP for Ashaiman Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Ernest Norgbey, who visited his colleague at his Akosombo Residence had the opportunity to advise the young students to see this as a heavenly decree using a great humanitarian in the person of their Member of Parliament.

He urged them to make good use of this opportunity since some of their colleagues will not be making it to SHS just because they cannot afford some of the few things this amount can afford for them.

On behalf of the parents, guardians and the beneficiaries, Mad. Mabel Esi, expressed their appreciation to Hon. Thomas Apam Nyarko for coming to their aid in this critical time, saying they will forever be grateful.
