Atinka grabs three awards at Media Personality Awards

Atinka Media Village (AMV) last Saturday scooped three top awards at the maiden edition of the Ghana Media Personality Awards.

The awards ceremony, which was held at the Accra Digital Centre to reward media personalities who have contributed immensely to the growth of the media industry, honoured AMV’s Akosua Agyewaa Bonsu, popularly known as “High Tension” as the Radio Development Show Host of the Year.

According to the organisers, Ms Agyewaa Bonsu’s award was based on her impact to homes and approach to social issues on her Saturday morning show on Atinka FM, Efi sem.

The biggest reality show in the country, Di Asa, also won the TV Reality show of the year with its producers, Atinka TV, winning the Channel of the Year.

Receiving the awards, Akosua High Tension thanked the organisers for recognising their hard works and urged their audience to watch out for more exciting programmes.

“The Season 5 of the GTBank Di Asa is ongoing and watch out for more. Di Asa ooo, Di Asa, shake body,” she elatedly expressed.

She also expressed gratitude to the Executive Chairman of Tobinco Group, Elder Samuel Nana Amo Tobin I, and her wife, Mrs. Araba Sika Tobin, for investing in their talents and for creating a good working environment for their talents to flourish.

The Ghana Media Personality Awards recognises, celebrates, and rewards contributions of personalities with exemplary vision in shaping the future of Ghana’s media industry

Deserving media organisations are rewarded for the resources they put into ensuring they contribute to national development while dominating the scene.

TV 3’s Daniel Ocansey and other journalists were also honoured at the event.
