Chop bar operator arrested over stolen goats

Mary Yeboah, 37, a local chop bar operator (sweet at Home chop bar) at Nkurakan in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region, has been arrested by the Nkurakan Police for allegedly buying stolen goats to prepare local dishes for sale.

The suspect was paraded through town with the stolen animals as her punishment.

As the community marched through the streets of Nkurakan, the suspect was booed by angry residents.

The Dademankye, Emmanuel Narh, and the residents were successful in apprehending Mary Yeboah.

The suspect was forced by the community to march through the streets with the dead goats on her head.

She was handed over to Nkurakan Police, who then handed her over to the Koforidua Central Police Commander for further investigation.
