Ahead of tomorrow’s elections, the Interior Ministry has declared that all land borders will be temporarily closed.
The move is intended to protect the integrity of the election process, goes into force right away and will be in effect until Sunday, December 8, at 6:00 p.m.
The Ministry urged citizens and travelers to abide by the decision and assist state security services in enforcing it in a statement released by Interior Minister Henry Quartey.
