In other news: Ghanaians react to Nigel Gaisie’s ‘Umofia’ Prophecy
Some Ghanaians have reacted to a prophecy by Leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Nigel Gaisie who prophesied to the people of ‘Umofia’ instead of the people of Ghana during the 31st night service at his church.
Unlike before, the Prophets gave ravaging prophecies about celebrities and politicians in the country.
But after Shatta Wale and Jesus Ahuofe’s controversy which landed them in prison, the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare urged all pastors to be circumspect while prophesying or face the law.
This time around, the Prophets developed new strategies in order not to fall into the IGP’s ‘trap’.
While some prophesied to their church members in secret, those who did their service on camera tried not to go beyond their boundaries and of course this time around, there was no death prophecy by the Ghanaian prophetic giants.
However, Nigel Gaisie on his part during his service said he was not going to be used as a scapegoat and urged his listeners to accept the few words which came out of his mouth.
At some point, he said he was not prophesying to the people of Ghana but to the people of ‘Umofia’.
This got a section of the public saying he was scared of being arrested, hence adopting ‘Umofia’.
Meanwhile, he said the First Lady of ‘Umofia’ may die in 2022
