Four persons die, many injured in gory acident at Twifo Hemang

Four (4) persons have been confirmed dead in a gory accident  which occurred on the Hemang-Praso road in the Twifo Atimokwa District of the Central Region.
The fatal accident which also rendered 24 critically injured occurred on Thursday, March 5, 2020 around 5:30  am  involved a 207 bus with registration number GT 5768-15 and a motor bike.
According to eyewitnesses, the bus was transporting about thirty -four (34) workers of the Twifo Oil Palm Plantation (TOPPOIL) workers when the accident occurred.
The report also indicate that the driver of the bus in an attempt to swerve the motor bike to avoid collision eventually lost control of the steering wheel and ran into a ditch. The motor rider died on the spot.
However, about 18 have been treated and discharged while 13 are still in critical condition at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
