Brief Background
President Akufo Addo on the 24th of March 2017, cut the sod for the construction of a new French Embassy after finally reaching an amicable arrangement between the governments of Ghana and France to peacefully relocate the French Embassy from its previous location where it shared premises with the nation’s seat of government (Jubilee House). The new building is situated next to the residence of the French Ambassador to Ghana in Cantonments. Claude Guyon, DPLG Architect (a French registered architect), designed the facility and Micheletti Construction Company constructed it.
