Ghana's Most Beautiful winner now gospel musician after being poisoned

The winner of the maiden edition of TV3's Ghana's Most Beautiful (GMB) beauty Pageant, Ama, is now a gospel musician after she was allegedly poisoned months after being crowned a queen.

According to her, but for the intervention of God, she would have been dead by now, explaining that her health condition became so critical that those she thought would have been supportive disappeared.

Although she was passionate about being a queen, she said she always acknowledged God and had massive love for the work of God hence her decision to win souls for Christ through music.

“I started writing gospel songs before I went into the pageant, but my health condition inspired me to write more songs to the glorification of God for delivering me from death,” she said.

Speaking to Atinkaonline.com, the queen/singer, with showbiz name, Ama Hila, stated that she will launch her first gospel album in May 2019.

Dubbed "Ebenezer", she revealed that the album has eight (8) songs on it, ranging from worship, highlife and reggae songs.

Some of the title of the songs on the album include, "Nea wo de me abedu ni", which features Ernest Opoku, "I wanna say thanks," "Kronkron Ni", and "Okokroko".

Ama Hila encouraged Ghanaians to put God first in everything they do.

She also hoped that through her album, the youth will know and understand God more, while they turn away from sin and put their faith in God.

“This album should be a wakeup call and encourage the youth that God exists. I want people to know that God can use anybody to do his work no matter what you have been through or going through. I stand for the youth and I urge them to repent from anything they do that do not please God,” she said.

“I want Ghanaians to listen to the music and it will encourage you in whatever situation you find yourself in that God has not neglected you. I also want to tell the youth that no matter what you do, you should seek the kingdom first and it's righteousness and God will add all things to you,” she added.

To reach her music, she called on the public to visit her Facebook account, Ama Hila or watch her music on Youtube, Ama Hila.
