Glint Africa honours Atinka TV’s Di Asa hosts, DJ Xtra

Ghana Tertiary Excellence Awards was held over the weekend as Glint Africa, organizers of the event recognized the tremendous works of the two hosts of Atinka TV’s flagship reality show, Di Asa, Embosuohemaa, Odeefuo and AMV’s DJ Xtra. 

The Ghana Tertiary Excellence Awards is an award scheme, which aims at empowering tertiary students and recognizing some influential Ghanaians who are positively influencing and empowering the Youth. 

Atinka Media Village bagged three awards at this year’s edition. According to organizers of the Ghana Tertiary Excellence Awards, Glint Africa, Ama Gyenfa Ofosu Darkwa popularly known as ‘Embosuohemaa was honoured for her influential role in the media.

She was honoured with a citation and a plaque. Also, one of the pioneers who played a significant role in the introduction of Twi presentation some decades ago at Vibe FM, Albert Johnson, also known as ‘Odeefuo or Di Asa Papa’ was also honored. 

Di Asa DJ, popularly known as DJ Extra also won the Promising DJ of the Year.

Embosuohemaa and Odeefuo thanked the Group Chairman of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Management of Atinka Media Village and their fans for their support and promised them to expect more as the Di Asa Auditions are is still underway. The CEO of Glint Africa, Destiny Bentil, commended all winners and urged them to do more for the development of the Country.
