I Have Seen Jesus Face-to-Face – Call Me Nazareth Reveals

Nazareth

Repented rapper Odenkyem, now known as Call Me Nazareth, has made a shocking revelation about his past, claiming he once sought spiritual powers for musical success but ended up encountering Jesus Christ face-to-face.

Speaking on The Opportunity Segment of Atinka TV’s Entertainment Lounge with Adepa and Odefour Di Asa Paapa, the rapper-turned-preacher disclosed that he and his friends once pursued juju to achieve hit songs but narrowly escaped a deadly plot.

Nazareth recounted that their journey led them to a spiritualist who demanded their blood as an offering.

“We were asked to pour our blood into his god, and we did. Then he instructed us to bury something on the path of a wealthy man so that anytime he drove by, our names would ring in his mind, and he would invest in our craft,” – he revealed.

However, the rapper said his quest for fame nearly cost him his sanity, as he later discovered that his friend had secretly conspired with the spiritualist to use him for sacrifice.

“I nearly went mad. I would pick food from the ground to eat, and at times, I would see water in gutters and think it was clean enough to drink,” – he recounted.

Though God revealed the danger to him through dreams, he admitted he initially ignored the warnings.

Nazareth said his life took a drastic turn when he had a direct encounter with Jesus Christ.

“I saw Jesus standing in front of me. He asked, ‘Do you know I love you?’ I said yes. Then he asked, ‘Do you also love me?’ But I couldn’t answer. He spoke to me in Twi and said he was giving me a fresh opportunity to go and tell the world about Him,” – he narrated.

“I am not here to condemn secular artists, but I know many of the people we celebrate today have done what I wanted to do. We call them ‘Chairman’ now, but the end is what matters,”- he warned.

Nazareth urged young people to be cautious of shortcuts to success, emphasizing that “the devil does not give anything for free.”

He also announced his latest gospel song, Psalm 77, featuring Joyce Blessing, which he hopes will inspire others to walk in faith.
