The government has renamed Moree Senior High School after the late Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.
The school will henceforth be called Kwesi Amissah-Arthur SHS.
Delivering a tribute at the funeral grounds at the Accra International Conference Centre on Friday, 27 July 2018, President Akufo-Addo mentioned that that the government consulted the family of the late Vice President and concluded on renaming Moree SHS after the late Vice President amidst calls from the youth in the Abura-Aseibu Kwamankese District of the Central region to rename the school.
Former Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur passed on in Accra June 29 while exercising at the Air Force-base gym .
