Ningo Prampram: Sam George accuses EC of "trying to frustrate" voters

The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency, Samuel George, has accused the Electoral Commission (EC) of deliberately  frustrating electorates in his constituency.

This statement by the lawmaker follows allegations of verification machines not working in the constituency.

Sam George argued that this anomaly has the tendency of creating tension thus likely to affect the election results in the constituency in the long run.

According to Sam George, he will make sure that everyone in the queue is attended to and get the opportunity to vote.

“Strangely, all the machines are not working, extreme challenges with the verification devices, facial recognition is not working, fingerprint is not working. What is going on is creating unnecessary tension. It is happening across the constituency and that is a stronghold of mine. It is not a funny game and one thing we would insist on is everybody in the queue gets to vote, ” he added.
