NPP Regional Election: We don’t have problem with albums- Election Committee Chairman assures

orphan constituencies

The Bono Regional Election Committee Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Kwabena Oppong, has assured the public that the NPP does not have any problem with the albums which will be used for their regional elections.

According to him, the party has a robust IT system that compiles the data of all committee members, aspirants and appointees right after election.

It will be recalled that during the constituency election of the NPP in April, 2022, there was chaos at some polling stations.

At the Okaikoi South, it appeared the names of almost half of the delegates had been deleted.

The delegates alleged that they only received the album the night before the constituency election, only to find out that their names had been taken out of the album.

At Yendi, the election was suspended due to a confusion over which album should be used.

At Subin, it was reported that the election was delayed until there was security.

Meanwhile, the NPP is set to begin its regional delegates’ conference today, Friday, May 27 to elect new executives.
