The lifeless body of a woman has been found in a wooden structure at Odwana in Accra.
According to the Police, on the 15th of May, 2023 around 2:35 pm, the assemblyman for Odawna-Sahara Adabraka came to the station and reported that a female adult had been found dead in a wooden structure around ECOMOG- ADABRAKA.
The police proceeded to the scene and found the deceased named Mariama, aged about 30 years old lying dead in a wooden structure with her baby beside her.
The police found no marks of assault on her body.
The lifeless body was subsequently conveyed to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
The police, however, have started the investigation and are making efforts to trace the family for further action.
