Finance Minister, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta, has stated that the Government will ensure that adequate preparation is made to facilitate the outstanding performance by teams that will represent Ghana in the upcoming World Cup tournament in Qatar and other competitions.
Reading the Mid year Budget Statement and Economic Policy on the floor of Parliament on Monday 25th July 2022, he stated that Team Ghana will be part of the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2022 which will be played in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
He also noted that the Black princess will be partaking in the upcoming FIFA under 20 female world cup which will be held in Costa Rica same 2022.
Mr Ken Ofori-Atta again noted that the Senior National Team, the Black Stars will also represent Ghana in the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar in November 2022.
He therefore said that,”Government will ensure that adequate preparation is made to facilitate the outstanding performance by these teams. We encourage all Ghanaians to continue to remember them in prayer and offer our support.”
