The Ofaakor Circuit Court, presided by his Honour Ebenezer Osei Darko has ordered Ghana Police to send Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng popularly known as Funny Face to Accra Psychiatric Hospital for two weeks.
Funny face was arrested last week for misconducting himself around Kasoa and its environs.
According to reports, he engaged himself in a brawl between the owner of a pub he visited and later went home to get a gun to give warning shots at the place after he was beaten.
The owner of the pub and others who were around allegedly reported him for causing fear and panic to the public which led to his arrest.
Although he claims the police mishandled him during his arrest, the actor took to social media to rain insults on the Ghana Police and all others who commented on his behaviour.
Funny face has been exhibiting some unusual behaviours which got a section of public suspecting he has depression and needs help after his separation from his wife and children and that of his best friend, Emmanuel Adebayor.
In a latest development, friends of the actor have called on Adebayor to come to the aid of Funny Face.
Although he was given bail after being in custody, the court has ruled that he needs some psychological evaluation.
