Shading people with your gospel music does not help-Tagoe Sisters

A member of the legendary Gospel duo, Tagoe Sisters, Madam Lydia Tagoe-Yawson says shading people with gospel music does not help.

She observed that while some songs encourage people and give others hope even when they are sick, others also appear to be shading people.

She said this on Atinka TV’s morning show, Ghana Nie with Ama Gyenfa Ofosu Darkwah.

“Some music encourages people and some when you hear them and you are sick, they give you hope but for some when you hear them, it is as if you are shading somebody and it does not help,” She said.

Madam Lydia Tagoe-Yawson observed that some people have the voice to sing and others have the talent of writing the songs.

However, she advised that if one cannot write but can sing, they should allow those who can write to write and acknowledge them.

The Tagoe Sisters have been in Gospel Ministry for 40 years and they both stated that the journey has not been a smooth one.

Despite the challenges, they said they sailed through with determination and with the help of the Lord.

Meanwhile, they are set to crown their milestone with a spirit-filled concert on 15th october 2023, at the International Conference Centre.

To purchase a ticket, they said one can dial *899*400# or go to Atinka Media Village to purchase the ticket.

The Tagoe sisters also noted that the dress code for the occasion is white and red, calling on all to come and support their ministry.
