Sinapi Aba trains women entrepreneurs to improve their businesses

The Chief Programmes Officer of Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans Limited, Mrs. Joyce Owusu-Dabo, has advised entrepreneurs to make sure the banks they do business with are legally accepted to operate in the country.

Speaking at a Financial Inclusion Conference for women organized by Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans Limited in Accra Tuesday, Mrs. Owusu explained that some banks are not legally allowed to operate in the country.

“Entrepreneurs must make inquiries with banks before saving or taking loans from them,”Mrs. Owusu stressed.

Madam Joyce pointed out that the workshop was aimed at training and empowering women entrepreneurs to ensure massive growth in their businesses.

Madam Owusu later told Atinka that 4000 women within the Small- medium scale business sector have already been trained, adding that the number is expected to rise to 18000 by the close of this year.

She urged members of the public to take advantage of the policies of Sinapi Aba in order to improve their businesses and also create employers for others.

“Business entrepreneurs must also be bold to take risks to help expand and improve their businesses issues,” Madam Owusu added.
