First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo has applauded 10-year-old old N’Adom Aboagyewaa Darko-Asare for emerging winner of the 2022 Spelling Bee competition

N’Adom Aboagyewaa Darko-Asare is a 5th grader at DPS International School.

Nii Odartey Elorm Manyo-Plange from The Roman Ridge School Accra and Aarna Bhaveshkumar Tailor of DPS International Ghana took 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

In a Facebook post, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo commended the organizers Young Educators Foundation, facilitators, teachers, guardians and sponsors, for this educative programme.

First lady also encouraged parents and schools to invest time and resources to enable more children participate in competitive brain activities like the spelling bee.

She exhibited sheer brilliance and calm determination to emerge champion.

Congratulations also go to the First runner-up Nii Odartey Elorm Manyo-Plange from The Roman Ridge School Accra, the second runner-up Aarna Bhaveshkumar Tailor of DPS International Ghana, Tema and indeed all the amazing contestants.
