Sucryza Distributors Limited, leading distributors of rice and sugar in Ghana have donated one hundred thousand Ghana Cedis to the Covid-19 National Trust Fund to support the mandate of the statutory body.
At a brief presentation ceremony at the office of the trust fund, Chief Executive Officer, of Sucryza distributors, Nabin C. Pandey, before presenting their contribution, noted that the Covid-19 pandemic is a global health emergency that required every company to join hands with government to fight it. He expressed hope that the contribution would go a long way to augment the work of the Covid-19 National Trust Fund.

Chairperson of the trust fund, Chief Justice (Rtd) Sophia Akuffo, after receiving the cheque on behalf of the fund indicated that the fund which is barely a month old will soon roll out a comprehensive program which is designed to offer direct support to the needy and vulnerable persons in the country. She extended the deep appreciation of government to the staff and management of Sucryza Distributors for their kind gesture towards the fund.
Mfantsipim Old Boys
Mfantsipim Old Boys Association, led by the Ebusuapanyin of the Association, Captain Paul Forjoe, and in the company of the Tresurer, Parry Aboagye, and Executive Secretary, Kodwo Morgan, presented their cheque of Two Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis, (GHc 200,000.00), to the fund.
Apinko 1 Engineering
Apinko 1 Engineering, represented by the Chief Executive Officer, Kwame Ofosu Mensah Enoch, donated a locally manufactured Apinko basin for hand washing, which is worth One Thousand Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHc, 1,200.00), to the fund for use within its office premises.
Head & Chief Directors of Civil Service
Head of the Civil Service and Chief Directors of the Ghana Civil Service, led by the Chief Director at the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice, Suleiman Ahmed, also presented Fifty Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc 52,000.00), to support the efforts of the fund.
