Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance: Spotlight on Kelvin Kusi Amponsah, Nana Akwesi and Star Boy

Participants of Atinka TV’s talent show, Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance are geared up for the grand finale which will come off on May 28, 2023 at the National Theatre.

Meanwhile, today’s spotlight is on Kelvin Kusi Amponsah, Nana Akwesi and Star Boy.

Kelvin Kusi Amponsah #24, is a pupil of Global Hope School, Ablekuma.
He started the audition with leg work and even at the launch, gave a variety of leg works.
As the competition progressed, he did not relax on giving the audience back- to- back leg works.
The highlight of his performance was when he danced with an old gospel song clad in a mauve robe.

Nana Akwesi Asamoah, #5, is from Fertile Field Int. School, Ofankor-John Tei.
Nana Kwesi came with fire right at the beginning of the audition, the launch, through the main eviction shows and made it here.
He made a mark when he performed with Shatta Wale’s Dancehall king song and Okyeame Kwame’s ‘Y33ko’.

Kelvin Opoku, Star Boy, #44, is a pupil of New Solid International School, Kumasi Bo)hu.

Kelvin Opoku, the Star Boy, one of the youngest contestants, entered the audition with a unique performance, went through the evictions with his dynamism. Aside from having flexible bones and using them, Star Boy always added humour to his dance, giving the people top notch entertainment.
He managed to steal fans of other contestants, making him one of the contestants with more fans.
Despite giving the audience back to back entertainment, the highlight of his performance was when he did Stonebwoy’s ‘Bhim Nation’ song, clad in soldier attire.

66 Children, both groups and individuals entered the Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance competition.

Over the weeks, those who did not perform up to expectations and those who had little or limited votes and placed at the bottom of the voting chart were evicted.

All too soon, 30 contestants have been able to reach this far and are heading to the Grand Finale which will be held at the National Theatre on Sunday, May 28,2023.

Meanwhile, the tickets of the grand finale would be sold at the entry and the public is encouraged to take note.

Voting is still ongoing and the public is encouraged to vote for their favourite contestants on 713203# on all networks to keep them at the top at the Grand Finale.

Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance was launched on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Sika Hall, inside the Head Office of Atinka Media Village.

The reality show for children seeks to harness the dancing potential of children between the ages of five (5) to ten (10) years.

The winner of the competition will take home a cash prize of GHC10,000 and a set of educational materials.

The first runner-up will receive a GHC8,000 cash prize and a set of educational materials, while the second runner-up will receive GHC6,000 in cash and a set of educational materials.

In addition to the above, several consolation prizes will also be awarded along the way.
