“What’s next after the national economic dialogue” – Benard Lav

Bernard Lav

On the Presenter’s Bite segment of The Agenda Show, hosted by Benard Love, he emphasized what comes next after the National Economic Dialogue.

The National Economic Dialogue, themed “Resetting GH – Building the Economy We Want Together,” is one of the promises of the current administration, the NDC, regarding the state of the Ghanaian economy.

The dialogue seeks suggestions and support from businesspeople, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and other stakeholders to address the country’s economic challenges.

“Beyond the National Economic Dialogue, what’s next? Is this just another opportunity for politicians and bureaucrats to talk? Another talk shop? Or will we see actionable results?” Benard asked.

The much-anticipated National Economic Dialogue took place on Monday, March 3, 2025. It was convened by the Government of Ghana in collaboration with its partners, including the private sector, civil society organizations, traditional authorities, academia, and others.
