The Jospong Group of Companies (JGC) and the Ghana Scholarly Society (GSS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration between industry and academia, with the aim of promoting research, innovation and sustainable development across Africa.
The partnership is expected to create a platform for both institutions to work together on research-driven solutions that address real-world business and development challenges.
It also seeks to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practice by encouraging greater collaboration between researchers and the private sector.
Under the agreement, JGC and GSS will collaborate on executive training programmes, applied research projects and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
The partnership is also expected to equip professionals and researchers with practical skills while supporting the development of a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting the evolving needs of businesses across the continent.
According to Jospong Group, the collaboration reflects its commitment to investing in human capital and promoting innovation through education, research and the use of data to solve pressing economic and social challenges.
