As the date for submission of filing of forms is nearing completion, several rominent members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have officially filed their nominations to contest various national executive positions as the party prepares to elect new national officers.
Former NPP General Secretary John Boadu who is seeking to be the National Chairman on Thursday, August 27, has filed to contest the seeking to lead the party as it reorganises ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Speaking to his supporters after the submission, he indicated that the party as it stands now needs a National Chairman who is competent and experienced to win election 2028.
NPP National Youth Organiser Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B,also filed to contest the National 1st Chairman of the party stressed that the party needs a bold and courageous person as it National 1st Chairman.
