The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced the full restoration of its vehicle registration platform following a temporary technical glitch that disrupted registration services.
The Authority in a statement released on Tuesday 1st September,2026 said the system has now been restored and vehicle registration processes are fully operational across its various operational offices.
The DVLA has therefore assured the public that clients can resume their vehicle registration transactions and access the Authority’s services as normal.
The Authority expressed appreciation to its clients and the general public for their patience, understanding and cooperation during the period of the disruption.
The DVLA said it remains committed to ensuring efficient, reliable and accessible vehicle registration services to the public.
The Authority has urged clients who require vehicle registration services to visit its operational offices and proceed with their transactions.
