Former National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan, has described National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah as a highly influential figure within the party whose experience makes him a formidable contender for any future presidential race.
Speaking during a live discussion on Flagship on Atinka TV, Yaw Boateng Gyan stated that anyone considering contesting against Chairman Asiedu Nketiah for the NDC presidential candidacy would need to work extremely hard.
“Anybody planning to contest with Asiedu Nketiah for the NDC presidential candidacy should put in extra work. He’s highly experienced and influential in the party,” he stated.
He also praised Chairman Asiedu Nketiah’s ongoing “Thank You Tour,” describing it as a strategic initiative that is positively impacting the party and strengthening unity among members.
“Chairman Asiedu Nketiah’s ‘thank you tour’ is a great initiative and it’s helping the party greatly,” he added.
Yaw Boateng Gyan noted that the tour has created an opportunity for party executives and supporters to reconnect with the grassroots and appreciate members for their support and commitment to the NDC.
His comments come amid growing discussions within political circles about the future leadership direction of the NDC and potential contenders for the party’s next presidential primaries.
