The Management of Atinka Media Village (AMV) have presented a set of musical instruments to winners of the maiden edition of its big band reality show, ‘Kronkron’.
The instruments which were presented to We2 Praise at their studios in Accra were a set of drums, percussion, keyboard, two combos, bass guitar, lead guitar, two speakers, and two cordless microphones.
The presentation was a fulfilment of an assurance given by the organisation, to reward the winners of the show, aside a cash price of GH₡10,000 which had already been given to the group last Sunday at a thanksgiving service.
Presenting the instruments to the winners, the Programmes Manager at the AMV, Mr Frank Norteye said “We at the AMV do not promise to fail, we promise and we deliver. And that is why we are here to present to you these instruments. Last Sunday, we presented a cheque of GH₡10,000 as we promised”.
“We fulfilled that promise and we are here to also present the set of musical instruments to We2 Praise to completely fulfil our promise,” he said.
Mr Norteye also congratulated the We 2 Praise band and urged the youth to participate when admission for the next season opens.
Receiving the instruments, Leader of the We2 Praise Band, Christian Amasah thanked the AMV for giving the band the platform to showcase their talents and also presenting the prizes as they promised.
Meanwhile, Father of the We2 Praise band and owner of We2 Studios, Prophet Patrick Josiah expressed his gratitude to the management of the AMV for fulfilling their promise.
According to him, “I was wondering if they will be able to fulfil their promises, but at the Grand finale, I saw that these people were not joking. On our way to one of the programmes we had a fatal accident and yet, we did not give up. We thank the MD, faculty and everybody who has played part in the Kronkron Reality show.”
The We2 Praise band, however, tested the instruments right when they received it to signify their excitement upon receiving them.
