Budget: We’re tackling the economic crisis- Finance Minister

The Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta has assured Ghanaians that the government is turning around the economic crisis which was triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, in order to make life better for Ghanaians.

According to him, the NPP-Government had already turned around the economic crisis it inherited from the previous government, assuring that with the help of God, the government will prevail in its quest for turning things around.

“We are not doubting our capacity of turning things around. We turned around the economic crisis we inherited in 2017, We are turning around the economic crisis the pandemic brought in 2020. The challenge is on and we are determined to prevail and with the people behind us, and the Almighty on our side, we know we shall prevail,” he said.

He said the 2022 budget was intentional about building an entrepreneurial nation, through physical consolidation and job creation.

“This may be an uncomfortable transition, but we have people who think deeply, we must progress and become a people who also make things happen for ourselves and the world. We must embrace the challenge of becoming a vibrant entrepreneurial nation,” he said.
