Covid-19: “Sixteen 47(Ghana) Ltd donates face shields to Atinka Media Village

“Sixteen 47 Ghana limited”, a subsidiary of “Sixteen 47 UK Company”, has donated about 100 pieces of Face shields to Atinka Media Village (AMV) a subsidiary of the Tobbinco Group of Companies.
Presenting the items to Atinka Media Village, the Chief Executive Officer of “Sixteen 47 Ghana limited” Nora Atcher, said the gesture was in line with the observance of the preventive measures of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
She said the company recognizes media as frontline workers adding that, without the media, information wouldn’t get to the public.

She commended the media especially workers of AMV for risking their lives to get information to the public.
She indicated that, “in the outbreak of the Pandemic Coronavirus, our company realized that there was shortages of Personal Protective Equipments globally so we quickly had to come in to produce more”.
She said, apart from AMV, the company has also made same donations to other media houses and hospitals in their way to support the spread of the Covid-19.
Receiving the items, Managing Director of Atinka Media Village, Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour praised “Sixteen 47 Ghana limited” for the gesture and called on others to emulate the kindness.

He added that, media workers should also be identified and treated as frontline workers in the fight against Covid-19.
He said the items, has come at the right time and would be distributed to the reporters, camera persons in the discharge of their duties to keep them safe on the field.
He also urged Ghanaians to follow suit the safety protocolsby the health professionals and that of the President in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
