Don't fall for fake recruitment forms-Police to public

The Director of Public Affairs for Ghana Police Service, Supt. Sheila Abayie Buckman, has advised the public not to fall for fake recruitment forms which are being circulated by fraudulent persons to extract monies from their victims.

According to her, the authentic forms are the ones published in the Daily Graphic News Paper, Ghanaian Times and that on their own website.

Speaking to Ekourba Gyasi Simpremu on Atinka TV’s morning show, Ghana Nie, Supt. Buckman said all the forms that reach people through other platforms either than the aforementioned are fake.

A section of the public have complained that, they hardly hear of police recruitment opportunities and only get to know of about them after enlistments .

She debunked that notion, assuring the public that the service will publish it when it is time to recruit new people.

“We had a lot of applications and because we could not train all of them together so we split them into batches so that when we need them, we can call those who qualify for training. The last batch are having their training, so when we need people, we will advertise it,” she said.
