Fotocopy, DJ Azonto and Nii Funny perform at Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance final

The National Theatre was full to its maximum capacity on Sunday, May 28, 2023 as it hosted the Grand Finale of the maiden edition of the Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance.

The excitement that greeted the entire programme moved to a different level when the youngest celebrity in the Ghanaian music industry Fotocopy, took the stage.

Fotocopy was in the same age group as the contestants and a lot of the fans at the National Theatre and therefore, they identified with him and grooved to most of his songs.

A lot of excitement popped up on the faces of parents and friends who saw their children on the same stage at which Fotocopy performed.

Photocopy performed most of his latest songs including ‘School De Bee‘, featuring Shatta Wale.

Then came a well-known Ghanaian singer Nii Funny, whose performance did not deplete the audience’s energy but rather enhanced it with his energetic performance.

Fans of the Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance who watched in admiration at the National Theatre and at home did not regret spending their time on the show.

DJ Azonto, the ‘Fa no fom’ crooner whose’ style of dressing and performance gained him a nicky as Sister Azonto did not miss the opportunity to cheer his fans at the National Theatre as he also thrilled patrons to some spectacular performances.

His Bible reading antics took many by surprise while his 2 year-old dancer who came to twerk on stage blew the minds of the audience.

In all, the grand finale of the Tobvital Atinka Kids dance came out beautifully as the contestants gave spectacular performances.

The Past Di Asa Queens also shook the auditorium with their weight and amazing dance performance.

Winners

Emmanuella Akweley Martey emerged winner of the maiden edition of Atinka TV’s Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance.

At the end of three stages of great performances, Green Stars were named 1st runner-ups while Victoria Adjetey was second runner-up.

Promise Maame Yeboah took the 4th place while Aaron Adonteng came Fifth.

The winners were chosen based on votes and marks by the judges.

The winner of the first edition of the competition, Akweley Martey received a cash prize of GHC10,000 and a set of educational materials including school bags and products from the sponsors of the show.

The first runner-up had GHC8,000 cash prize and a set of educational materials, while the second runner-up received GHC6,000 in cash and a set of educational materials.

In addition to the above, several consolation prizes were given to all 30 contestants.
