Louisa Iris Arde, the Municipal Chief Executive of Jomoro in the Western Region, last Friday donated twenty sets of Wheelchairs to people living with disabilities in Jomoro at the Municipal Assembly Hall, Half-Assini.
She said, “God has a reason for each decision he took and that, we must be thankful for that” explaining that since “Disability is not an inability” their (PWDs) current situation shouldn’t overshadow their God-given talents.
She admonished the beneficiaries not to sell the wheelchairs but rather use them for the intended purpose. She again presented Cheques to twelve (12) People Living with Disabilities who are currently schooling to help them pay their fees and cater for other expenses.
The Municipal Chief Executive expressed her profound gratitude to all stakeholders who made the programme a success.
