Former Information Minister, Fatimatu Abubakar, says the governing NDC won power by making promises that it has failed to fulfill.
Speaking on Atinka TV’s Ghana Nie – Flagship hosted by Nana Yaw Fianko, she said many Ghanaians are now disappointed in the government’s “Reset Agenda.”
According to her, the NPP still has the trust of many Ghanaians despite losing power.
She claimed the NDC promised jobs for the youth through its proposed 24-hour economy policy but has not delivered on those promises.

Fatimatu Abubakar said the NDC told Ghanaians that companies operating under the 24-hour economy policy would enjoy lower electricity tariffs to support business growth. However, she alleged that electricity costs have rather increased under the current administration.

She also mentioned comments by media personality Kwesi Pratt Jnr, saying she was surprised to see a video in which he expressed disappointment in the government.
“I initially thought the video was generated by AI,” she stated.
The former minister further claimed cocoa farmers are unhappy with current cocoa prices, despite promises by the government to offer better prices than the previous administration.
She said the NDC leadership, including National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, is now touring the country as concerns grow over the government’s performance.
