Some angry youth at Nuaso, a community within Somanya in the Eastern Region on Wednesday night blocked some major roads in the area to protest persistent power cuts.
They threatened to sleep on the roads till power is restored.
Power distributors, PDS has given assurance that "normal" will be restored after twelve days.
It explained that the current power cuts are result of some maintenance works on power- generating machines.
