A 45-year-old Night Guard at the Tema Central Sub Metro, has been found dead at post.

According to officials of the Tema Central Sub Region, the deceased whose name was given as Salifu Abugri, was found lying in a supine position in one of the offices of the sub metro with no traces of any assault or attack on his body.

Family of the late 45 year old night guard said they suspect he might have died from Blood Pressure complications since he was on medication for the ailment.

Chairman of the Tema Central Sub Metro Sylvester Yankey, gave account of how they managed to break into the SubMetro office with the help of the police to discover the death of their late watchman.

Meanwhile the body of the late night guard has since been deposited at the morgue, with investigations ongoing to unravel the actual cause of death.

The pregnant woman who went missing on September 17, 2021 in Takoradi has been found at Axim in the Western Region.

Josephine Panyin Mensah, 28, went for a walk at dawn on that fateful day but never returned home. Her husband, Michael Simmons later lodged a formal complaint with the police.

However, she was found on Tuesday September 21, at Axim and was immediately sent to the Axim Government Hospital for treatment.

According to reports, the pregnant woman was unable to speak as a result of the trauma she went through.

It has also been indicated that the pregnant woman was found without her baby.

Meanwhile, the police is investigating the matter.
