Abesim murder: Case adjourned to Dec 16

The case involving Richard Appiah, the 28-year-old man who allegedly murdered two young boys and kept human parts in a refrigerator at Alaska, a suburb of Abesim near Sunyani in the Bono Region, has been adjourned to 16th December, 2021.

This is to give the prosecution more time to complete investigation.

In court today, the Prosecution appeared with Richard Appiah and 5 other guys and took a date of adjournment to complete their investigation. The case wasn’t called.

Richard Appiah does not have a legal representative yet. This is the fourth appearance of Richard in court.

At the first hearing, State Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Lawrence Anane, prayed the court for more time to complete investigations which was answered.  It also turned out that the  Magistrate was on leave at the second hearing and third hearing was also adjourned for same reason.

The case has been adjourned again to December 16 to aid investigation.
