The National Youth Organiser of the largest Opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) George Opare Addo has said that no person in Ghana can overturn the verdict of announcing Ex-President Mahama as the next President in the upcoming December 7th,2024 polls.
He said the wind blowing indicates that Ghanaians especially the youths are calling for change and the National Democratic Congress will ensure that John Dramani Mahama is elected president.
In an interview on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Nana Yaw Fianko, Mr. Opare Addo stated that the NDC will ensure that it protects each vote to secure total victory.
“We are not going to the Court again this time around because there is a question mark around the Country’s Judiciary system. So, we will ensure we are up to our task. Anybody who has plans of skewing the elections to favour any political party won’t be spared”.
“Everything that we must legally see to it that the Ghanaian voter goes out there and votes for John Mahama, we will do and tailor-guide the process to protect the democracy of the youth,” he added.
Opare Addo added that Ghanaians especially the youth are yearning for change so for that matter no individual be it a worker of the Electoral Commission or any other political party should attempt any rigging.
He claimed that for Ghana to come out from the current economic mess caused by the ruling New Patriotic Party, it will require an experienced, competent, and disciplined person adding that, that person is ex-president John Dramani Mahama
He said the current economic hardships Ghanaians are facing are evidence that the ruling government led by Nana Addo and Bawumia has failed.
