There has always been a hot debate as to who is the best when it comes to reggae/dancehall music in Ghana. This debate always narrows down to two persons; Shatta Wale & Stonebwoy.
Public opinions are always split when this debate comes up.
But putting this debate to bed once for all, Mojo Morgan of Morgan Heritage went into the corner of Stonebwoy.
In an interview with Chelsy Sey host of Takoradi based Y 97.9 FM’s flagship program; RYSE N SHYNE, Mojo Morgan, one part of the legendary Reggae/Dancehall group; Morgan Heritage opined that Stonebwoy does more conscious music.
Answering the question of how Ghanaian artistes can break into the international market, Mojo said;
‘Ghanaian artistes should follow the examples of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. ………So if you are a clean and conscious upcoming reggae/dancehall artiste then, you can say I would like to be like Stonebwoy.’
Morgan Heritage is currently promoting their new single; ‘Pay attention’ which features Nigerian Reggae/Dancehall act Patoranking.
Pay Attention is the second single off their upcoming 2019 album.
