A Labourer, Francis Awuni alias Kusaase has been nabbed by the Bia West District Police command for allegedly killing and beheading his boss, Mr. Azumah in his rice farm.
The incident happened at Amoa-Krom in the Bia West District of the Western North Region.
Report has it that, Kusaase managed to chop off Mr. Azumah’s head in a firth on the rice farm and hid it in polythene bag.
Assembly Member of the area, Edward Takyi who confirmed the sad incident said the deceased (Azumah), employed Awuni as a labourer to assist him in his large acre rice farm until the unexpected happened.
However, the suspect after being arrested by residents after a tip-off from someone who saw what transpired before the heinous act, the suspect confessed to the crime and said that, his boss attempted to use him (suspect) for money ritual hence his revenge and overpowered him.
The culprit has been handed over to the Bia West District Police Command whiles investigation is ongoing.
The body has been deposited at the Bia West Government Hospital morgue for autopsy.
