The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana PAOG has announced that the official fare for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage remains GHC60,000, unchanged from 2026.

In a press release issued on August 12, 2026, PAOG said collection of payments starts immediately on a first-come, first-served basis until Ghana’s quota is exhausted.

All payments must be made through accredited Hajj Agents with the official PAOG code or directly to PAOG’s GCB Bank accounts.

The Office warned it will not be liable for payments made outside these channels.

Hon. Alhaji Abdul-Rauf Tanko Ibrahim, Chairman of PAOG/Ghana Hajj Board, urged intending pilgrims to pay early and avoid unaccredited agents to prevent fraud.

The Office also cautioned prospective pilgrims to be wary of fraudsters and unaccredited agents ahead of the 2027 Hajj.
