Six players have reported to the Black Stars camp and taken part in training at the Accra Sports Stadium as Ghana begins preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The players are goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, Caleb Yirenkyi, Gideon Mensah, Ronald Donkor, Kwasi Sibo and Christopher Bonsu Baah.
The six players have joined the team’s initial training activities as the technical team begins preparations for Ghana’s upcoming qualifying matches.
Their arrival marks the start of the squad’s gradual assembly, with other invited players expected to join the camp ahead of the qualifiers.
The Black Stars will be hoping to put together a strong campaign as they seek qualification for the 2027 AFCON tournament.
The team’s preparations at the Accra Sports Stadium will provide the technical team with an opportunity to assess the players and work on their tactical approach ahead of the competitive fixtures.
