The Court of Appeal has acquitted and discharged former Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Sedina Tamakloe, overturning her conviction by the High Court.
The decision sets aside the earlier judgment that had found Ms. Tamakloe guilty of causing financial loss to the state and other related offences.
The Court of Appeal’s ruling effectively clears the former MASLOC CEO of the charges for which she had been convicted and sentenced.
