The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has commended the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mr Henry Quartey for his hard work since he was assigned to the position.
According to the President, the Minister wanted a different position but he insisted that he become the Regional Minister.

However, after his appointment, the Minister had demonstrated that he is hardworking, winning the hearts of the public, as well as the President himself.
Mr Henry Quartey has been commended by a section of the public for being firm since he assumed office.

Notable among his works was the relocation of Onion sellers at Agbogbloshie to Adjen Kotoku Market in the Ga West Municipality, the removal of scrap dealers, and some decongestion exercises in the city as part of steps to make Accra the cleanest city in West Africa.
Speaking on Accra Based Radio Station, Peacefm, the President said,”He wasn’t happy about it, he wanted to do a different job at the beginning, he didn’t like it but I told him that this is what he is going to do so he should adjust his mind to it and he has proved to be extremely strong choice and preference. And everyone has seen that he came to work, he did not come to play.”

The President was happy that he is not the only one who saw that Henry Quartey had worked hard but the public as well, saying it would have been a disaster if he failed.
