Korle Bu to host prostate cancer awareness webinar on September 24

The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital is set to host its September Webinar Series on Thursday, September 24, 2026, with a focus on prostate cancer and the importance of early detection among men.

The webinar, scheduled for 3 p.m., will be held at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Conference Room at the hospital.

Themed “The Prostate Cancer Menace: What All Men Need to Know,” the session will bring together a panel of experts to discuss prostate cancer, its risks and the importance of early detection.

Prostate cancer remains a major health concern for men, making public education and timely screening critical in addressing the disease.

The webinar is expected to provide participants with practical insights into prostate cancer and equip men with information to better understand the condition and take steps towards protecting their health.
