Mahdi Gibril, the Acting Director of Elections and IT of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has announced that the party’s picking and filing of nomination forms will be conducted entirely online as part of efforts to modernise its internal electoral processes.
Speaking in an interview on Atinka FM, Gibril said the digital approach is intended to make the nomination process more efficient, transparent, and accessible for party members seeking elective positions.
“Picking and filing of nominations will be conducted entirely online,” he stated.
Commenting on national governance, Gibril also praised President John Dramani Mahama’s leadership, describing it as one driven by experience rather than trial and error.
“President Mahama is governing Ghana with experience, not experimentation,” he remarked.
According to Gibril, the President’s years of public service and leadership continue to shape policy decisions and governance, which he believes are contributing to the country’s development.
His comments come as the NDC continues preparations for its internal electoral processes while highlighting the Mahama administration’s governance approach.
