A trailer carrying Maize, sugar, millet and other farm produce veered off the Accra-Dodowa road injuring scores of people.
Atinka Media Village’s HR, Mr. Thomas Baah, who was at the scene of the accident, mentioned that the trailer which was heading towards Accra from the northern region veered off the road when it got to Dodowa.
He noted that the trailer somersaulted into a ditch spilling the Maize, sugar, millet and the other farm produce on the road.
The driver’s mate who was unconscious after the accident has been admitted at the Atua Government hospital in Odumase-Krobo.
The driver of the trailer, however, managed to escape the accident unhurt.
