A pawpaw vendor has reportedly been killed after a forklift vehicle crashed into her at Kaase in the Ashanti Region.
The incident is said to have occurred while the woman was selling pawpaw by the roadside.
The forklift vehicle allegedly lost control and crashed into the vendor, resulting to her death.
The incident has renewed concerns about the safety of roadside traders and the need for operators of heavy-duty vehicles to exercise caution, particularly in busy trading areas.

Police assistant officer, Frank Osei, in an interview with Atinka News reporter, Sofoba Kwame Afrifah, had to explanation.
Police are expected to investigate the incident and establish the full circumstances that led to the death.
