Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, has appealed to traders who have become dissatisfied with the party to forgive past grievances and return to the NPP.
He made the appeal during a working visit to the Racecourse Market in Kumasi, where he interacted with traders as part of efforts to unite and rebuild the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.
COKA also expressed concern about the challenges facing businesses in the Ashanti Region, particularly unstable electricity supply, which he said is affecting trading activities and livelihoods.
He urged traders to put their differences aside and support the NPP’s efforts to regain power in 2028.
He assured them that a future NPP government would pay greater attention to their concerns.
